“Time’s Up On Silence by Jo Knight made one of the most memorable cover pictures for the PAGB news….. and is once seen never forgotten.” Rod Wheelans, Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
“Having had the privilege to watch your zoom presentation last night, I would like to thank you for your awe inspiring talk and photography skills. You are possibly the most interesting person I have ever heard during my time in photography……..thank you on behalf of photographers everywhere both young and old.” Member of Deeside Photographic Society.
“Your Promoting Passion talk last night to Edinburgh Photographic Society was probably the best talk I’ve ever attended in 20+ years of being involved with camera clubs. I watched and listened in awe. As well as the content of your talk being so interesting, your ‘de-construction’ was perfectly explained and your delivery was superb and brilliantly paced. You have completely blown my mind with your modesty and talent in an area of photography which until last night sometimes felt like an alien world………it was beyond awesome.” Member of North Berwick Photographic Society
“Jo showed us numerous examples of her exquisite work during the evening and kept us entertained with a lively and highly articulate narrative. She is a talented and creative photographer who has faced numerous obstacles in her life. Her determination and dedication in overcoming these to achieve such recognition and success in the photographic world is an example to us all.”
(Her) “images of social commentary and personal tribulation show Jo to be an outstandingly unique photographer with a gift of being able to translate the stories conceived in her mind into striking creative fine art representations. She certainly lives up to her mantra of Have The Courage To Tell Your Own Story and the exquisite and moving photographs that we were treated to in her presentation certainly justified the enthusiastic reception she was given by members at the end of an unforgettable evening.” Press statements from Keswick Photographic Society.
“Thanks Jo for a fabulous talk! One of the best I’ve seen for a long time, for many reasons.” “A real treat!” Hanham Photographic Society.
Your Overcoming Obstacles talk was “so inspiring”. “The best talk I’ve ever attended at a Camera Club”. “We’d love for you to return and give your follow up talk Promoting Passion” Tiverton & Heathcoat Photographic club.
“There is something quite magical about the fantastic composite images created by Lake District Photographer Jo Knight.” Andrew Mason, founder The London Photo Show.
“Your Overcoming Obstacles talk……was a memorable evening of fascinating and thought-provoking pictures…….Your willingness to show us the sometimes simple components that go into creating your stunning images was very much appreciated. Thank you again for a highly enjoyable and stimulating evening….” Morton Photographic Society.
“Your images are fantastic. Thank you for allowing us to use them on our social media site.” internationally acclaimed Mojgan Noorian-Bellamy, couture bridal-wear designer to the stars.
“Can I thank you once again for a brilliant talk last night. I know from comments made to me by members that your story and achievements both touched and inspired everyone. I know we tend to use the word “inspiration” a little too glibly at times, but it is sincerely meant this time…… I do hope you can provide us with your follow-up talk next season”.
“I also would like to add my own thanks for your very open and honest presentation. It was a thoroughly engaging and inspirational evening; can’t wait to hear what the sequel brings!” North Fylde Photographic Society.
