A friend told me today that Adobe’s Photography plan was available with 40% off if you buy from Amazon!

The usual annual cost of the Adobe Photography plan, which contains both Lightroom and Photoshop, is £119.76 (usually paid in 12 monthly instalments of £9.98) but it’s currently available on Amazon for £72.20. You save nearly £50 – what’s not to like?!

I already have a monthly Photography plan with Adobe, so was concerned that it would be a faff to cancel it and re-subscribe with the Amazon plan and have to re-download Photoshop, but that appears not to be the case.

When you receive your order confirmation email from Amazon it contains instructions on how to activate your order, which is as simple as logging on to your Adobe account and inputting your Amazon redemption code. This will automatically credit your Adobe account with your year’s subscription and automatically cancel your monthly subscription until the Amazon sub runs out. If you don’t already have an Adobe subscription you will need to sign up for a free trial and once you have an account you can then input your redemption code.
