What do you do on a rainy Tuesday, as soft mist obscures the distant hills and drizzle coats the window panes?
You listen to Vivaldi, the notes strumming through your veins, every cell in your body vibrating like your own nerves are being bowed. Pink and yellow synaesthesia Quavers float in the air, visible only to you, dancing to the rise and fall of the melody, your energy giddy with the emotions evoked.
You bend spoons with your thoughts. Pass on messages from loved ones now departed. Tenderly hold precious mementos, consciousness briefly connected through space and time.
You don anoraks, braving the weather to eat toasties in the hustle and bustle. Wander through quaint shops on the way home.
You talk and listen and learn and grow. You give thanks for beautiful energy, honesty, warmth and hugs. For hot tea, candlelight and squishy sofas. For another day where your heart beats and your lungs breathe and your inquisitive mind functions.
I can think of no nicer way to spend a rainy Tuesday, as soft mist obscures the distant hills and drizzle coats the window panes, than in gratitude. What are you grateful for today?
