Still Connected

I sleep well, apart from the odd middle of the night toilet trip, and rarely remember my dreams but occasionally they’re so vivid that they stay with me all day so I write them down to see if they’re trying to tell me something. I used to think that dreams were just our brain’s way of processing everyday life, which I’m sure they are to some extent, but then I discovered shared dreams which changed my view entirely and led me to believe that, sometimes, the ‘dream space’ is a totally different consciousness.

On the night of 22nd September I had a lucid dream. I was abroad, it was evening and I was looking out onto a bay lit with twinkling lights. It felt European and I could hear foreign chatter all around me though I didn’t understand the language. The dream was bizarre and bonkers, as many dreams are, and made little sense to me.

The next morning, on 23rd, I woke with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Kiss Me’ playing in my head. Ouch. This song brought back painful memories and I hadn’t played it in a long time, but by evening it was very loud in my head and it has come and gone ever since, some days playing softly, other days much louder.

As regular readers of my blog know, ear worms like this are usually a sign that someone is either thinking of me, about to get in touch or there is some other energy connection happening. I can’t imagine what that could be in respect to this particular song, as I assume the person I connect it to doesn’t give me a second’s thought. I’ve also no clue what the foreign country connection was all about in my dream, as I don’t know anyone who lives in Europe.

The whole thing makes no sense to me, but I trust the experience and the energy connection, which will either reveal itself in time or it won’t.

On a different but related topic, yesterday I decided to go for a potter in a local wood. It used to be a regular and favoured walk when I had my little dog, Bertie, though I’ve had no desire to visit there since he died 3 years ago………..until this weekend when I suddenly, out of absolutely nowhere, had the urge to go back. I had the entire place to myself apart from meeting 2 women who were here on holiday and were walking their little dog……called Bertie. I knew, then, that my dog was with me and chatted to him on my way back to the car.

Soul ties don’t die or disappear. We may be separated by distance, time and other spiritual dimensions but the energy connection remains. Always.
