I have had no contact at all with my ex boyfriend now for 10 months. The relationship is completely dead in the water, there is zero desire on either part to resurrect it, and yet I had an unexplainable experience today regarding him.

I’ve had one of my favourite days out of the year photographing birds of prey in south Cumbria (more on that in a Photography blog post once I’ve processed all my images). The journey involved travelling through the stunning Duddon Valley and going past the road end of my ex’s former home. He moved away 10 months ago to live in London and this was the first time since we broke up that I had been anywhere near where he used to live.

I drove past his road end without much thought as I was chatting away to my companion but on the way home my car sat nav, which had been directed to take us home, told me to turn left on to the road which led to his former house. A road which goes to the middle of absolutely nowhere and not a short cut to my house in any way. In fact, the road to his house leads to a farm and then a dead end, so in order for us to get home we’d have to double back on to the road we were already on. It was all a bit weird, but I simply ignored the sat nav and carried on driving.

A few hundred yards up the road is a second turning which takes you to the tiny hamlet in which he used to live and yet again my car sat nav insisted this is the road I should take. A road which leads to half a dozen farms and houses and certainly not to my house.

Although I’ve driven to his house loads of times when we were seeing each other the sat nav didn’t contain his address as I’ve changed my car since we split up and when I bought my new car the sat nav was empty – I have had no reason to enter his address. In any event, he no longer lives there.

I can find no explanation for it whatsoever 🤷🏻‍♀️. We’ve driven 170 miles today and this was the only time the sat nav tried to steer us off course and it did it twice.

I find the whole connection to him fascinating, not in romantic terms but in psi and energy terms. It encourages me to keep exploring and growing and for that I am thankful.
