Psychometry

I’ve had a fabulous day at the Centre for Liminal Studies at Broughton Sanctuary today. It started with a meditation by Monroe Institute board member and outreach trainer Luigi Sciambarella during which I silently asked for the purpose for the experience I had yesterday regarding my ex to be made known to me. I was given information which made no sense whatsoever, but I wrote it down so watch this space.

When I say I was “given information” we all receive this differently, but for me it’s usually spoken words in my mind. Sometimes I’ll also get visual information which look like scenes in my head, eg today I was shown a Bald Eagle kneeling before me asking for food (bonkers I know!). Obviously I’m not going to come across a Bald Eagle in the meadow behind my house, so this is metaphorical. Wherever the information comes from (no clue about that) will use whatever is already accessible in our brains to provide information to us, and being as though I was photographing birds of prey yesterday they are fresh in my mind. Yes, I’m well aware it all sounds a bit woo woo 😉

After the meditation we did a couple of Remote Viewings (which I am rubbish at) then I had a practice at psychometry. Psychometry is the ability to extract information from an object belonging to another person when touching it. I don’t claim to have an ounce of psychic ability, however I have had a little bit of success ‘reading’ objects.

One of the group, who I will call X, gave me a pen to hold and I wrote down these words:

  • Old man. Grey hair. Has passed (ie is dead)
  • Smoker
  • 3
  • Race horses
  • Tattoos
  • You as a baby
  • Sorry!
  • Then there was a pause before I wrote
  • rain
  • accident
  • medals

When I relayed this information back to X he looked totally blank. Clearly none of it meant anything to him. He explained the history of the pen to me and none of the information I’d picked up correlated. But I kept getting in my mind “Grand-dad”, so I asked him if either of his Grand-dads has died, to which he replied both. Then I asked if any of the information related to either of his Grand-dads and that’s when it started to click.

The Grand-Dad on his maternal side of the family was a smoker, was dead, his house number was 3 and he used to bet on the horses 😊

The Grand-Dad on his paternal side of the family had war medals which X’s dad has possession of.

He still couldn’t place the tattoos (although he’s thinking about getting some himself, so this might be a premonition), the apology, the rain or the accident reference so I’ve just left those with him and he’ll let me know if anything springs to mind. This photo was sneakily taken while I was out on the lawn holding X’s pen:

I then gave X a bracelet of mine to hold. The information he received was:

  • Huge energy (he said his whole hands were tingling and pulsing)
  • Safety
  • Protection
  • The object was very important and important to the company I got it from
  • It was a gift I bought for myself
  • He then picked up separately love, happiness, fun and peace.

The object I’d given him (with the face covered) was my medic alert bracelet. I did, indeed, buy it myself for my own safety and protection and all my medical details are lodged with the company I bought it from who are rung by medical staff should I need medical treatment but be unconscious. He was spot on!

In respect to the energy he picked up – I know I have HUGE Soul energy and this isn’t the first time it has been psychically picked up. He also picked up on my internal state of love, happiness and peace 😊

All in all not bad going for a pair of rank amateurs!

You don’t need psychic ability to have a go at psychometry. You simply hold an object owned by someone else, sit quietly without distractions (I wear ear plugs and close my eyes so I’m not distracted) and write down anything which pops into your mind – literally anything and everything. It could be a flash of colour, a word or phrase, a scene (a bit like in a film), a sound, a scent, an emotion or feeling…….write it all down. Then relay that information to the object owner and see if any of it resonates. You might be surprised by the results.

Just to finish, the picture I’ve used for this post is a selfie of my own hand holding the medic alert bracelet X read for me today. When I brought it up on my phone to share to my laptop my entire hand had a shimmering silver light all around it! This isn’t the first time this has happened – the photo of me spoon bending at the Wyrd lab also had the same shimmering silver light all around me when I first looked at it 😮. I tried to take a screen shot of my hand while the light was shimmering but it didn’t appear on the shot. It is definitely not my imagination or a hallucination, though, because on both photos I swiped to get rid of the picture then swiped back several times and each time the silver light appeared. However, when I tried the same thing again the next day the light had gone and has never appeared since. Now that is woo woo!

Edit: I now know what the rain and accident references were in my reading for X. They actually weren’t for him but related to me. I was part way through having my driveway tarmacked and the firm were supposed to be coming back the next day to finish off, but the boss had been run over by a tractor and was in intensive care. They said they wouldn’t be back the next week as the forecast was for rain, but would be back on the next fine day to finish the job!
