I celebrated my birthday last week. I was born in the morning, so around the time of my birth I wanted to visit my Mum’s grave to share that part of my day with her. I got in my car, started the engine and said out loud: “if you’re with me Mum, send me a song on the radio”.

I pushed the button on the console. There was a short pause, then the following song began to play. Fast forward to 2 minutes and 24 seconds, because I came in at the chorus.

Could it be mere coincidence? Of course. But of the millions of songs in the world, this is the one which played and it could not have been more perfect.
