I had a brilliant evening last night attending the first of 6 classes in level 2 spiritual development. I took level 1 in the Spring and this course follows on from what we learned and practised, covering deepening intuition, chakras, tarot & symbolism, dowsing, pendulums & automatic writing.

I woke this morning buzzing and full of energy and I’m not the only soul feeling this way. The course tutor posted on our Whatsapp group this morning: “I am feeling so much gratitude this morning and feel genuinely blessed to share these special evenings with you all. I came away with a full heart, feeling so much love and gratitude for our little spiritual family.” There really was a fabulous energy to the group, which feels like a very safe space to explore🙏🏻

On our first evening, the tutor had brought along several objects which were placed on a table and we had to choose the one we were most drawn to. We then held the object and wrote down any impressions, feelings, sensations and words which came into our minds in a process called psychometry.

I was drawn to an old compass on a metal stand and immediately on picking it up felt a rush of excitement. I could barely wait to get back to my seat before writing down “love, love, love!” The person this belonged to was very excited to have the opportunity to come through for the person who had brought it.

I was given the impression of a summer’s afternoon in an orchard. There was a very strong emphasis on family and children. I was shown Mum, Dad and two children. Everyone was laughing and having a lovely time.

I was given the name Bill and a male who had died of a heart issue. I asked if Bill had a Wife and what she had died of and was told she’d died of cancer.

After the reading, the owner of the compass was able to verify that it belonged to her Dad, who had died of a heart attack, and before that his Dad who had also died of a heart attack.

Bill was the owner’s maternal Grand-dad. His wife had died of cancer.

She couldn’t verify the day out in the Orchard, however said her Dad (the compass owner) was very family orientated – family was everything to him and the focus of everything he did – and he was one of two children.

So I didn’t do too badly with my short psychometry reading – I was particularly chuffed I got a name and how people had passed.

We then filled out a short questionnaire on how we ‘pick up’ our information. There are 8 ways information can come through, but we covered the 4 main ones which are:

• Clairvoyance (ie seeing visual pictures in our mind’s eye)
• Clairaudience (ie hearing an internal dialogue, sound track or voice)
• Clairsentience (ie feelings, emotions or bodily sensations)
• Claircognizance (ie intuition or ‘knowing’)

I scored in all 4 clairs, but my top two were clairvoyance and claircognizance. I am very visual in my readings and get strong intuits or ‘knowings’. However, I also hear very clear spoken words and have musical ear worms which I’ve talked about here on my blog before, so I use a range of the clairs in my spiritual practices.

My energy was giddy driving home and that’s always a sign that I’m doing something I love.
