I am stupidly busy at the moment. The workmen are here all week tarmacking the driveway. Tonight I’ve just finished the last of a 6 week meditation course. Tomorrow I am going down to Skipton to attend the Centre for Liminal Studies. Thursday I’m seeing a friend in Church Brough. Friday I need to put together and send out a poll to my Camera Club’s members and absolutely must finish off a funding application (I’ve just volunteered to take on the role of Secretary as nobody else would and without one the Club couldn’t function). And Sunday I’m hoping to go to Windermere to photograph the marathon. Then next week I’m back at the dentist for more work on my failed root canal. It may take a little while before I’m able to write a proper photography post.
In the meantime I just wanted to share tonight’s stunning sunset with you, snapped on my phone from my back garden. What is it about the Sky that fascinates me so much? 🤔 It’s different every day. Is often breath taking in its beauty. Its vastness blows my mind and yet it also feels like a familiar friend. It gives us life. Is a protective shield. It is home to the stars and the birds, the sun and the moon, the wind and the rain. A joyous wonder to behold and be grateful for 🙏🏻
